Woodinville is one of King County’s newest cities, incorporated in 1993. It has a total land area of 3618 acres and is bounded by the King/Snohomish county line to the north, NE Woodinville-Duvall Road and Sammamish River to the east, the Tourist district to the south and 124th Ave NE to the west. Woodinville has attracted over 1100 businesses within its city limits. Businesses are attracted to the city due to the fact that it has no business and occupation tax, free business registration and have a per capital sales tax revenue that is ranked 6th in Washington state.
