The city of Beaux Arts was incorporated in 1954 and is the smallest jurisdiction in King County with a total land area of 53 acres and a population of over 300 people. Even though the city is one of the smallest in the county, it is still a desirable place to live and work since it is located between Seattle and Bellevue, two of the busiest cities in the county. It is located on the eastern shore of Lake Washington and north of the East Channel bridge on Interstate 90. It is about 3 miles away from downtown Bellevue and less than 10 miles from downtown Seattle. It is conveniently located near Interstate 90 and Interstate 405.
